Best place to work рейтинг
People analytics firm Great Place to Work determined the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For™ list and the Fortune Best Big Companies to Work For list by conducting America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, representing more than 4.3 million employees this year alone.
Employees responded to over 60 survey questions describing the extent to which their organization creates a Great Place to Work For All™. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees report about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization, no matter who they are or what they do. We analyze these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make up, and what’s typical in their industry and region.
The remaining pieces we consider include an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of the company’s values, people’s ability to contribute new ideas, and the effectiveness of their leaders, to ensure they’re consistently experienced.
To be considered, companies submit an application documenting over 200 datapoints describing their HR programs and practices. Great Place to Work then conducts a confidential survey of each company’s workforce. To ensure surveys truly represent all employees, we require enough people in each organization to respond that results are accurate to a 95% confidence level and 5% margin of error or better. One part of the total score is based on our evaluation of company programs and policies, while three parts come from our analysis of employees’ survey data.
We review any anomalies in survey responses, news and financial performance to ensure there aren’t any extraordinary reasons to believe we couldn’t trust a company’s survey results. Companies need to employ at least 1,000 US employees to be considered for the 100 Best Companies list, and at least 100,000 US employees to be considered for the Best Big Companies to Work For list. Government agencies are not eligible.

The Best Places To Work In 2019
Earlier this week Glassdoor.com, one of the leading job and recruitment websites, published their list of the best places to work for 2019. The list was compiled by analyzing company reviews and ratings from both current job incumbents as well as former employees. Winners are determined by examining millions of reviews. Researchers looked at the quantity, quality, and consistency of the reviews to evaluate which companies made the list. Glassdoor.com ranked the following companies as the top large companies to work for. A complete list of the 2019 best places to work can be found here .
- Bain & Company
- Zoom Video Communications
- In-N-Out Burger
- Procore Technologies
Employees want to be treated fairly and with mutual respect. It’s important for companies to create an organizational culture where employees feel valued. Microsoft was ranked #34 on Glassdoor.com’s list of the best places to work. Microsoft Chief Diversity Officer Lindsay-Rae McIntyre shared how Microsoft fosters a culture of inclusion for its employees. “Over the past few years, we’ve deepened our commitment to building a more inclusive environment through programs like unconscious bias training, expanded parental leave, immersive experiences like Dialogues Across Differences, and the continued support for and growth of our eight Employee Resource Groups and 40 Employee Networks.” With the vast amount of research evidence supporting the positive impact of diversity training, competitive parental leave policies and employee resource groups, other companies should follow Microsoft’s lead. McIntyre also shared that at Microsoft, they are committed to achieving their diversity and inclusion goals. “In 2016, we tied executive compensation to internal diversity and inclusion goals to hold leaders accountable for improving representation at all levels, which includes retention strategies…we are encouraging our employees to be intentional, engaged, and accountable owners of the culture by incorporating an inclusion goal into our performance review process at all levels.” Tying diversity and inclusion goals to individual performance measures helps create accountability. Research indicates that companies that hold executives accountable were successful at achieving their diversity goals.
It is clear that there must be some intersection between diversity, inclusion and the quality of the workplace. Fortune.com recently publish a list of the best workplaces for diversity and there was some overlap between Glassdoor.com’s list of the 2019 best places to work and Fortune.com’s 2018 best workplaces for diversity. Adobe was ranked as #30 out of 100 on Glassdoor.com’s list of the best places to work and was also ranked as #30 on Fortune.com’s best workplaces for diversity. One of the ways that Adobe fosters a culture of inclusion for its employees is through the talent pipeline. Adobe partners with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), opening its doors to students studying computer science and engineering. Students are able to visit the company and take an interactive tour. Adobe also participates in the Grace Hopper Conference, a gathering with the specific purpose of celebrating women in technology, with some female employees from Adobe taking part in the conference. In addition, Adobe offers a wealth of resources to veteran employees and their families, including support groups, counseling services, and access to free meditation sessions to promote stress management and reduction.
Building a workplace that is the “best” and creates an inclusive environment for all employees involves creating groups for employees to connect with others who have shared characteristics (ERGs), linking performance goals with diversity goals, ensuring that policies like parental leave are fair and competitive, and providing ongoing diversity training for employees.
